I don’t walk into a bar or club with four hours of music already planned. Every room is different, and what worked last weekend might not work tonight.
I’ve spent years learning how to read a crowd and move between genres without killing the energy. Country, hip-hop, house, rock, throwbacks, current hits — if the room wants it, we can go there.
That doesn’t mean randomly jumping from song to song. I use mixing, wordplay, edits, mashups and transitions to connect music that normally wouldn’t live next to each other and keep the night moving.
Requests are welcome, but they’re also requests. 😂 I’m always listening to what people want while paying attention to what the entire room is responding to.

HOW IT WORKS
Know the Room: Before the event, I learn about the venue, the crowd and the kind of night you’re trying to build.
Build the Energy: I start with the room I have and let the set develop naturally instead of forcing a predetermined playlist.
Stay Flexible: If the crowd changes, the music changes. The goal isn’t to prove what I can play — it’s to keep people there, drinking, dancing and having a good time.

I’m DJ Alex Witte. For nearly two decades, I’ve built my style around reading crowds, taking chances, and never assuming two events should sound or feel the same.
I’m a club-style, open-format DJ at heart, but my experience goes far beyond clubs. I DJ weddings, festivals, schools, bars, and private events throughout Wisconsin and beyond. Wherever I’m playing, my job is the same: understand the room, bring the right energy, and give people an experience that feels genuine to them.
I’m not interested in being the center of attention or following the same routine every weekend. I’d rather let the crowd become the show — and know exactly when to push the night somewhere they weren’t expecting.
